As quickly as they appeared, they are gone. I decided that I liked the template view better for now... so until I figure out how to add stuff within the template framework, or decide to go back to the default and re-add the stuff I've added already, this is it.

Too bad. I personally feel like a "Recent Comments" list is essential for a Blog.
I comment on friends' blogs (as I'm doing now), but it always feels kinda futile, like starting a conversation and then immediately leaving the room.
It's hard enough to check all the Blogs I want to check on a regular basis; I certainly can't step through and check all the old entries regularly.
True. Maybe I'll go back to the other way and work in the items that I need that weren't there.
